Unconventional started as a small two-person business in late 2025, reselling pre-loved clothes, shoes and accessories of our own, our friends and our family, online.
It's been a whirlwind of a year and as interest has continued to grow, we have now purchased our first London thrift store, which will be opening later this year – sign up below for more details on this!
Our Vibe Is Your Vibe
We've grown up in the capital, fully embracing all of its diverse, multicultural, musically-inspired fashion styles, and this is reflected in the range of items we sell at any given time.
We don't believe in labels as a rule and actively encourage all of our customers to embrace what makes them unique, because that's what makes the world a more beautiful place, right?
Sure, some of what we've sold in the past have been described as indie, goth, bohemian, punk, mod, rocker, raver – the list goes on! – but we prefer to describe our stock collectively as eclectic, undefined and, well, Unconventional by name, unconventional by nature!
If you're looking for the next big high street clothing store, that's okay, but Unconventional likely isn't going to be the place for you.
